Remember treasure isn't always material, like that one attribute quest in Cantha proved. Could be anything from cash to a nest of dragon hatchlings, or even more nefarious things. Could be this info will come into play later with Chapter 3. No one knows really, but like some folks, I'll be checking it out tomorrow.

I was hoping it was a dragon pet for rangers.

Farmed him roughly 7 times and nothing new but the old green Rotwing.

the hints dont have to be for cantha players who beat the First chapter you know or farmed everything in C1 already. The hints maybe for the new players playing C1 as well and if they become curious about what the scribe hints, they may find out themselves a green can be farmed there. Don't know why you guys think everything is for us Faction owners, when the Scribe is for all PvE readers. they have to entertain C1 players too.

I don't know how dense you have to be to think he is guarding something besides the bow - it even mentinos that it is a weapon. The Scribe is pure role-playing and you people are taking it like it is a casual player. Why this isn't dead is beyond me.

Rotscale has been there even before the new Green was added. I have always wondered what he was doing there anyways.

At first I thought he was guarding the resting place of the Scepter of Orr. Now I think he is guarding something else. Something yet to be seen? maybe something yet to be seen for chapter 3?

After all it is Majesty’s rest. A grave rest for whom exactly and for what?

He's probably just guarding another shitty green with shitty mods.

I think part of the mystery is what makes the game feels like a world and not just a game. Rotscale has always guarded that island gates near the scepter of orr's location and always will. We may never know, and it leaves us guessing. That's what makes the game fun.

Well, after completing The gates of Kryta we can see in the "cinematic" how the White Mantle runs off with the Scepter of Orr from that same area.

Perhaps Rotscale doesnt know its treasure already has been stolen by the White Mantle, or are amasing forces to get it back.

The scepter is a far better treasure & worthy of a Dragon guard than a recurve bow with nice looking skin..

Ill take a Dragos Flatbow over Rotwing Recurve Bow anyday.

You could further the arguement by saying he doesnt mention its a sword and its not a swordmanship Req (as all swords have of course). The only thing you have to go by is the dmg, and it could be a non max bow. Also ive seen many other professions using swords without warrior 2nd (and not for the energy or enchantment bonus)...therefore "noob"ish, that could be the perfect weapon for those guys

if you make up a weapon for "pwnage", its going to be max. who makes up a weapon and says

2-7, no one, when you make a weapon, you make it max. therefore his weapon is a sword.

Anf the reason why the sword is trying to make fun of "wammos" is because of its stats.

as I said earlier, people think wmmos are stupid, rush in without caring leetspeakers.

And also as I said before, most are not. If Racthoh is W/Mo at the time, are you gonna say hes a stupid wammo just because of his secondary?

As i ised, if it was a sword not only warrior's use swords.

The guy posted a joke comment and you just wanted to start an arguement.

.....wammo's suck!

If you carefully rip apart the Scribe's words, you will realise that the "weapon" they are talking about is the bow.

Let's all face it, the scribe is rather slow at noticing things.

If The Scribe is referencing anything other than the Rotwing bow, it could be the fact that Majesty's Rest was where the Scepter of Orr was found.

It is probably my hands as they are registered with the FBI as deadly weapons.
